A
native of the island of Maui, Jodi grew up in the artistic atmosphere
provided by her father, Joe Alatalo. He inspired her to follow his
love of art; as well as inspiring her by his love for the nature
of Hawaii.
From an early age, art was a favorite subject for Jodi. As a senior,
she received special recognition for her art in a competition entitled
Kaha Ki-i (Hawaiian for artistic discovery).
Since the late nineties, Jodi has been pursuing her childhood dream
of being a recognized artist. Her art has been collected from across
the United States, Canada and Japan.
Sharing what she feels inside her heart with every brush stroke,
she strives to capture nature's unique beauty and convey a feeling
of peace designed for all to enjoy.
With the deepest aloha, Jodi says The love of flowers reflects
the beauty in the mind and sweetness in the hearts.

Studies under Joe Alatalo, Thomas Metcalf, Nelson Tolentino,
Gary Medeiros, and Marlene Singlehurst. Adapted to my own style
still incorporating each skill and technique taught by my mentors.

Over 200 pieces owned by private collectors and businesses from
across the state of Hawaii, United States East and West coast,
Canada, London, and Japan.
