Artist, teacher, wildlife enthusiast, David W. Jackson is multi-talented and proficient in several art mediums. Currently his energies are focused on watercolor, oil, and bronze.

A native of Ogden, Utah, David received a bachelor of science degree in art at Weber State University and a master of fine arts degree through Utah State University. He taught art at Bonneville High School for twenty seven years before retiring in the year 2000 to devote more time to his art.

Jackson's accurate yet creative depictions of wildlife and the outdoors have afforded him the opportunity of showing work in private collections and shows throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe. He has crafted monumental bronze sculptures for Weber State University, Fremont High School, Skyview High School, and private businesses. He is a strong supporter of numerous wildlife and charitable organizations. He has served as a board member for the Eccles Community Art Center for many years.

David has been recognized as featured artist for the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. He placed in the Artist of the Year and Peoples' Choice competitions for the North American Sheep Foundation. He has been awarded first place in the St. George Art Festival, bronze medal for the National Audobon Show in Alaska, Best of Show in the Morgan County Fair, and his work has been at the Eccles Art Center, Union Station, and a sell-out show in Lenzerheide, Switzerland as well as two-man shows at Gallery Etc. and the Tivoli Gallery. His work has also been featured at the Dixie Invitational Show and in Southwest Art magazine.
