Many of my nature studies have been inspired by the view from my studio window, which issurrounded by dense woods, combining my love of painting and nature. My interest and fascination with the Sun and the Moon is also often reflected in my paintings. My goal in my paintings is to convey to the viewer the feelings I have for the subject matter.
For the past 25 years I have devoted myself to a career as an artist. I have worked in oils, pen & ink, acrylics and watercolors, preferring watercolors for its spontaneity.

Studied with Jack Anderson, Catherine Wilson Smith and Nita Engle. Prefer not to study too long under any one artist to preserve my own individual style.

Over 900 pieces in private and public collections, including Cook Memorial Public Library, Kraft Corp., Villa Park Public Library, Glenbrook Bank, Glenview State Bank, First National Bank of Amboy, Harris Bank of Woodstock, Arlington Heights Public Library, Village of Crystal Lake and Mc Henry County College.
